Associate, Director of People Operations

Monica started at WHM to help develop operational systems and policies that were essential to support our business growth. Her passion and expertise in creating and implementing organizational systems that promote staff performance and drive growth have been monumental in refining our project management strategies and in increasing team engagement.

Monica graduated from University of Victoria with a degree in Molecular Biology. She moved to operate her own business where she found her passion in entrepreneurship and business systems. She thrives in connecting with people and helping them succeed.

Associate

Jacob started at WHM in 2012 as a Design Engineer. After receiving his Bachelor of Engineering degree at BCIT in 2015, he came back to WHM to work full time. He then quickly moved to managing multiple projects, and because of a personal interest and proficiency with computers, Jacob has also stepped in to help with the company’s IT support.

Jacob is well-versed in providing constructability and practical solutions to unique design challenges. His many years of experience in the construction industry combined with his collaborative approach and careful attention to detail have made him an expert in handling complex commercial and institutional projects.

Associate

Kurt started his career at WHM as part of the Field Services Team in 2016. Not long after, he joined the engineering team to work on structural designs. After obtaining his professional license in 2020, Kurt then moved on to become a project engineer, allowing him to further hone his strengths in communication and coordination.

Kurt’s expertise is in renovations and retrofits for both residential and institutional projects. He is detail-oriented and adept in managing client expectations. His calm demeanor and collaborative spirit work well with contractors, clients, and consultants, helping them arrive at the most suitable solution for each challenging project.
