VANCOUVER ISLAND CANCER CENTRE EXPANSION

WHM was enlisted to design a state of the art expansion for the cancer treatment centre in Victoria, BC. This renovation of this outstanding facility consists of a 10,000 square foot vertical expansion that includes a new patient and family support centre, a laboratory, a medical library, a pharmacy, and a gift shop. The expansion was designed with a flexible floor plan to satisfy the staff requirements to provide excellent patient care. The centre is a focal point on Vancouver Island for promoting cancer prevention and early detection practices as well as providing specialist care services, training, development, and research.
