River Park Place

River Park Place is a modern, mixed-use development located in the Oval Village in Richmond, BC that consists of a 17-storey residential tower with commercial units and townhomes in three distinct buildings that bring structural and architectural variety to the project.

WHM was presented with various seismic and foundation design challenges due to the project’s location near the south arm of the Fraser River that were addressed by employing advanced analytical techniques. This project reflects top-class structural engineering: the residential units offer all the comforts of a modern home and feature well-designed, spacious suites with high-end finishes, while amenities include communal gardens, a fitness centre, music rooms and basketball courts.
