EITSito completed his Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Civil Engineering at UBC before joining the Field Services team at WHM. Born and raised in Metro Vancouver, his favourite thing about living on the West Coast is being able to go to the beach and go skiing on the same day. When not working, he likes to be on his bike to explore new places and go on hikes with his Golden Retriever named Otis.

Originally from Tehran, Iran, Neda moved to Ottawa 13 years ago, where she earned a M.A.SC in Mechanical Engineering. She moved to Vancouver after seven years and fell in love with Vancouver’s beautiful beaches, breathtaking nature, and amazing autumn colours. Neda lives with her husband Majid and two-year-old daughter Delaris.

Off the clock, Brian, Wendy and their three children enjoy spending time skiing, boating, hiking, and exploring the rugged West Coast together.

Principal
Monica’s favourite aspect about WHM is the supportive atmosphere and that people celebrate personal and professional victories. “I’m lucky enough to call my colleagues friends, and that’s a big reason why coming to work is always enjoyable,” she says. A self-confessed ‘gym rat’ and hiker who hits the trails and works out whenever possible with her partner, she also enjoys slowing it down and sitting by the ocean for a coffee with her dog and daughter.

EITJordan’s favourite thing about working at WHM is its open-door policy, which he says promotes more effective communication and project management, opportunities to learn from one another, and of course — fun! Outside of the office, Jordan is a figure-skating coach, and also enjoys running, cycling and cooking. Unlike many, he loves ALL aspects of the Vancouver weather. “That includes the rain,” he says. “I lived in California for a year and cannot tolerate the heat!”

Administrative Assistant
Born and raised in Vancouver, Samantha is the person who can be counted on to always keep projects in check and on point in the WHM bullpen. This self-confessed ‘cat-centric’ soul has two cats that share her home, but she also rescues and fosters as many animals as possible that can’t help themselves. Pastimes that keep her busy include gardening, snowboarding and riding her bike, and her favourite thing about Vancouver is the marine air.

Structural Engineer
EITBorn in Singapore, Daniel’s parents moved their family to Vancouver in 2003 to provide more opportunities for his education and eventual career. His off-the-clock activities include playing golf and soccer and he’s became a bit of a shutterbug, taking photos of his wife and rescue dog Luna the Lab-ernese while out exploring the city. “Vancouver’s got a little bit of everything for everyone,” he says. “The mountains, ocean, green spaces, and all kinds of great food.”

Proposal and Marketing Coordinator
It’s WHM’s focus on promoting and maintaining a positive work-life balance that is one of the major reasons why Jules has embraced her role at WHM. She moved here in 2015 from Australia and had to adjust to the stretches of rainy winter weather, but quickly fell in love with the natural beauty. “I love that we’re so close to mountains and lakes and there are plenty of community activities to do all year round.”
